Summary: SaudaScout collects only what is necessary to provide the service. We do not sell your personal data to any third party. Your payment screenshot is used only for manual subscription verification and is stored securely.

SaudaScout ("we", "us", "our") is a data intelligence platform operated by an individual proprietor based in Pakistan. The platform is accessible at saudascout.com and provides AI-driven product trend predictions for ecommerce sellers, primarily on Daraz.pk.

2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information when you register or use our services:
- Identity Data: Full name as provided during registration
- Contact Data: Email address
- Authentication Data: Password (stored as a cryptographic hash — we cannot read your actual password)
- Payment Verification Data: A screenshot of your payment proof uploaded during registration
- Session Data: A session token generated upon login to maintain your authenticated session
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform (collected via standard server logs)
- Device Data: Browser type, operating system, and IP address (collected automatically)
We do not collect: payment card numbers, bank account details, CNIC numbers, phone numbers (unless voluntarily provided), or biometric data.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information exclusively for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your subscription account
- To verify your payment and activate your access
- To authenticate your login sessions securely
- To send service-related communications (subscription status, updates)
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- To improve our platform based on usage patterns (aggregated, anonymized data only)
- To comply with applicable Pakistani laws and regulations
4. Payment Screenshot Storage
When you submit a payment screenshot during registration, it is stored on our server for the sole purpose of manual subscription verification by our administrator. The file is:
- Accessible only to the authorized platform administrator
- Not shared with any third party
- Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months for record-keeping purposes
- Deleted upon written request after account termination (subject to legal retention requirements)
Important: Please ensure your payment screenshot does not contain sensitive information beyond what is necessary to confirm the transaction (e.g., full bank account numbers). We recommend cropping or obscuring such details before uploading.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party, ever.
We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Legal Compliance: When required by Pakistani law, court order, or lawful governmental authority under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002, PECA 2016, or any other applicable legislation
- Infrastructure Providers: Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf under their own privacy policy. They do not have access to your personal data beyond what is technically necessary to operate the servers
- Business Transfer: In the event of a sale or transfer of the business, your data may be transferred to the new owner, subject to the same privacy protections
6. Data Security
We implement the following security measures to protect your personal data:
- Passwords are stored using cryptographic hashing — they cannot be reversed or read by anyone
- All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
- Database access is restricted and not exposed to the public internet
- Session tokens are randomly generated and invalidated upon logout
However, no system is 100% secure. By using SaudaScout, you acknowledge that you provide your information at your own risk and that we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights Under Pakistani Law
Under applicable Pakistani laws and general principles of data protection, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Objection: Object to processing of your data in certain circumstances

8. Cookies and Tracking
SaudaScout uses only essential technical storage mechanisms:
- localStorage: Used to store your authentication token so you remain logged in between browser sessions. This is stored on your device only and is never transmitted to third parties.
- We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or analytics platforms such as Google Analytics at this time
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for the following periods:
- Active account data: For the duration of your subscription
- Payment records: 5 years from the date of transaction (for tax and legal compliance under Pakistani law)
- Server logs: 90 days on a rolling basis
- Deleted accounts: Within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except data required by law
10. Children's Privacy
SaudaScout is intended for use by individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us immediately at privacy@saudascout.com and we will delete the account.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, notify registered users by email. Your continued use of SaudaScout after the updated policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including but not limited to the Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002 and the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
